Binaurality is a method designed for those seeking to break the barrier of understanding another language, especially English. In particular, it is designed for those who have little free time, as it can be used in the time and place decided by the user.
You decide the time you want to dedicate to the method, you are responsible for setting the pace of study. If used daily for 15-20 minutes over a three month period,you will notice a significant improvement in your ability to understand the language you've decided to learn.
A Binaurality lesson is a learning module, which contains audio recordings and texts about different subjects at various levels, with which you will learn to understand language. The lessons are further divided into themes and are composed of 4 files which are: 3 mp3 audio recordings: The first covering grammar, vocabulary and also includes an introduction, the second containing the target language audio, and the third is the Binaurality method. The fourth file is a PDF file with all the transcripts to the audios, so that you can follow the speech and reinforce the understanding of the texts.
The Binaurality audio files are all in mp3 format, so therefore can be used on any device that uses this format: iPod, iPhone, mobile phones, mp3 and mp4 players, portable CD players etc.
"The entire content of the method is presented in audio and text format. Therefore, as well as downloading the files in mp3 format, you will also download the PDF files, so that you can read the text while listening, print it off or work with it separately.
Headphones are key for successful application of the method, therefore, you should use whenever possible. Otherwise, you will not be getting the best out of the method, the binaural listening and the purpose of psychoacoustics.
Binaurality refers to the use of both ears in hearing, the term Binaurality stems from the Anglo Saxon word, binaural. In Binaurality, each ear is assigned a different channel, maximising the benefits of the method. In your right ear you will hear the language you master, and in your left ear you will hear the target language.
